RMRPI Executive Director
RMRPI was founded by Dr. Lisa Van Bramer. Dr. Lisa, as she has become known, was trained as a physician and had multiple emergency room experiences that led to her belief that advocacy and prevention is paramount to child safety.
Dr. Lisa received her undergraduate degree from The Colorado College in Colorado Springs, Colorado. After graduation, she spent a year teaching English as a second language in Osaka, Japan. Upon returning to the United States, Dr. Lisa received her Doctor of Medicine degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago, Illinois. A Colorado native, Dr. Lisa returned to Colorado after her medical training to complete her Residency in Emergency Medicine at Denver Health Medical Center. While working as an E.R. Physician, Dr. Lisa was a featured physician on The Learning Channel's (TLC) series Trauma: Life in the ER. Dr. Lisa went on to earn a Masters of Science in Public Health from the University of Colorado at Denver (UCDHSC). Subsequently, she completed a Residency in Preventative Medicine at UCDHSC.
Dr. Lisa is a nationally-recognized speaker on topics of public health and emergency
medicine. She serves on several non-profit boards in Colorado and has collaborated on several national grants in the public health arena. Above all, Dr. Lisa is dedicated to her family and is a tireless mother of three kids.
